The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of care delivery to the homes of Honor’s seniors from recruiting and supervision of home care providers to customer acquisition and delivery of care. This position will also work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure that the overall customer experience is seamless and high quality.

Responsibilities

    • Oversee and optimize the recruitment funnel for caregivers
    • Direct the onboarding experience for caregivers, as well as ongoing training and professional development opportunities
    • Manage implementation of local and national partnerships for customer referrals
    • Oversee customer onboarding, delivery of care, and support channels
    • Work with Honor’s product team to implement technology that allows the organization to scale rapidly and efficiently
    • Manage growth in operations, both from a personnel and systems perspective
    • Establish department budgets and ensure achievement of the company’s P&L targets
    • Implement and monitor quality control and compliance procedures for all aspects of caregiving

Skills & Experience

    • Minimum of 7-10 years experience in operations in a direct-to-consumer business, including a minimum of 3-5 years in a management position
    • Experience working in a high-growth environment
    • Experience managing a large field-operations staff at scale
    • Previous responsibility for establishing departmental budgets and being held accountable for P&L results
    • Strong leadership qualities: manage and scale teams, recruit and retain top talent, build consensus, and rally members to achieve goals
    • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
    • Ability to proactively identify areas for operational excellence and create solutions
    • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can communicate clearly and effectively
    • Desire to make a big and positive impact
    • Experience in home or health care preferred but not required
    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
