At Prospect, we help startup employees navigate the world of equity. Our product suite spans the entire equity lifecycle, from choosing which startup to work at and evaluating offers, to exercising options and handling liquidity events. We have built a back-tested ML model that projects a range of likely outcomes for any startup over the next four years. We've raised over $2M from top VC's such as Construct Capital and WndrCo, and our angel investors include the founders of Ramp and Anduril.

Our current team has only 3 FTE's and a handful of contractors. We are looking to hire a Founding Engineer - a scrappy, full-stack generalist who's excited for the dynamic challenge and opportunity of an early-stage startup. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be a founder someday. You'll work closely with Prospect's founders to bring new products from 0-1, and collaborate cross-functionally with our product, data science, and marketing initiatives. You will also learn to see startups through a VC perspective that takes a rigorous and data-driven approach to evaluating what makes them to likely to succeed or fail. We expect our Founding Engineer to display a high level of ownership, so we are committed to offering outsized equity and a competitive salary for this role.

We believe that in-person collaboration is essential for early-stage startups and have a firm policy of working 5 days a week in our NYC office in Union Square.
