The Company
We are a well-funded start-up based in London and Boston, and are backed by founders, investors and entrepreneurs who have built multi-billion dollar technology companies.

We're the team behind the popular ZOE COVID Study app - designed by doctors and scientists at King's College London, Guys and St Thomas's Hospital and ZOE’s talented development team. With over 4.7 million contributors globally, the ZOE COVID Study is the world’s largest ongoing study of COVID-19. Our work is so crucial to the nation’s health and scientific understanding the UK Government funds ZOE to continue this great work.

Having proven the success of our app-based Community Science approach with COVID-19, we now look to apply this approach to a much broader range of diseases that are in desperate need of the sort of rapid scientific research that we are uniquely positioned to support - across areas like cancer, heart disease, dementia, mental health, women’s health and more. To make this happen, we are now embarking on an exciting journey to transform the Study and the app beyond COVID-19.

The Role
We are looking for an exceptional Visual Designer with an emphasis on graphic design to help transform the experience and all visual aspects of the ZOE COVID Study into a first-class experience for our users as we aim to expand our scientific impact to other health conditions beyond COVID-19.

You will be part of a small but highly efficient design team where the ability to shift priorities and wear multiple hats is key.  Working closely with our product, engineering and marketing teams, you will be instrumental in shaping every aspect and phase of the ZOE COVID Study - from creating visuals for our native app to crafting engaging designs for our website and webinars.

You will be expected to work efficiently and utilize your full range of visual and interaction design skills to help us design the experience for a product that is not only impactful for critical scientific research but provides great value to vast numbers of the public.

Expect to have the designs you make be seen by hundreds of thousands of people within less than a week - this project is where you will be able to use your design skills to make a genuine widespread impact on society, and rapidly.
