The Food Safety & Quality Team plays a key role in implementing world-class food safety and quality standards at Juicero.
As a Commodity Manager, you will secure supply lines to meet sales and operations needs. Our ideal candidate will have developed new produce markets, field and farm development, supplier program and compliance development for internal and externally procured organic produce.

The Work:
- Develop both strategic and sustaining relationships with growers and other supply lines
- Generate strategies for procuring produce annually and up to four years in advance, taking into account pressure points for geography, seasonality and their impact
- Work with supplier compliance on the assurance of food safety, food security and related regulatory requirements, working towards the development of company standards, policies, procedures and testing
- Manage the process for purchasing decisions and order fulfillment with approved growers
- Work with the VP of Food Safety to develop and manage all third party auditors
- Actively communicate market trends, weather or other growing or harvesting events
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or similar preferred
- 2-5 plus years in produce auditing and compliance, including produce purchasing experience
- Bi-lingual (specifically Spanish) not required but a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented and quality/cost minded
