Juicero’s mission is to make healthy living easy and accessible through technology and plant-based nutrition. Starting with the first ever countertop cold-pressed juicing system—The Juicero Press, Packs and connected Juicero App—and reinventing the “farm to glass” supply chain, we unlock 100% raw, fresh, organic produce directly to consumers everywhere.

The commercial team’s purpose is to share Juicero with the world and make it available as broadly as possible.  Basically we want to create easy access to great tasting Juicero one glass at a time! As a Business Development Manager you will play a critical role in realizing this mission. You will be responsible for gaining new accounts in an assigned territory including: retail, office, hotels, and college and university locations through expansion of the Juicero platform.  Account growth as well as volume per account will be a critical measurements of success. Other areas include but not limited to effective sales presentations, support of partnership activities, merchandising in outlet, and superior communication of all activities both internally and externally. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented and is hungry to be a part of an exciting, fast-paced, innovative company that’s making a difference in the organic food supply.

The Work:

    • Business Development
    • Prospect for new accounts based on defined target segments
    • Work with key distribution partners to expand Juicero rapidly
    • Identify and work with the key decision makers within the client organization & build the overall relationship with new clients
    • Plan approaches and sales pitches based on specific customers that speak to their needs, concerns and objectives
    • Build out pricing proposals as needed to secure new business
    • Cold call as appropriate within your assigned geography to ensure continued pipeline of new customers
    • Forecast sales targets and ensure that the organization has all information needed to support new customers
    • Work with marketing and account management staff to ensure successful in account activation of Juicero

    • Client Retention
    • Present new product and services as available to enhance existing relationships
    • Present industry trends and insights as available to support the Juicero proposition
    • Develop routines for business reviews and overall stewardship of the account
    • Attend industry events as needed to keep up with emerging trends to support client growth and interact with the public on behalf of Juicero

The Requirements:

    • Excellent communication & organization skills
    • Strong work ethic with hunger to succeed
    • Flexible to evolve as the business grows and expands
    • Passionate about Organic Food and improving food supply
    • 5-7 years of experience in sales, merchandising or account management role preferably in a fast paced organic, premium, or natural CPG company
    • College degree or equivalent education; degree in Sales and Marketing, Culinary Arts or other related education is preferred
    • Ability to travel 30% to 40% of the time
