We are seeking a Retail Project Manager to manage projects and process deployment for New Store Openings – from initial scope and needs assessment, to developing a process plan, to changing management protocol. This role is ideal for someone that started on a retail floor and worked their way into retail support or leadership roles. This role is cross-functional across multiple aspects of Jushi – you will interact and collaborate with Construction, Marketing, Retail, HR, IT, Security, and Finance, working to create workflows to align moving parts across the company – to open retail dispensaries around the country. Curiosity is a plus, and this role requires project management software experience, with a knack for promoting the adoption of innovative process ideas. The Retail Project Manager is a critical role in the next phase of Jushi’s business growth and requires attention to detail, creativity, and excellent writing and people management skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Lead project planning sessions
    • Coordinate staff and internal resources
    • Manage project progress and adapt work as required
    • Ensure projects meet deadlines
    • Design process maps for communication and implementation
    • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
    • Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
    • Secure growth opportunities and initiate new projects
    • Manage large and diverse teams
    • Manage new store openings and deployments
    • Create/write SOP’s, plans, etc…
    • Serve as a liaison to cross-functional teams both at the corporate level & retail level to ensure that organizational goals are met
    • Draft schedules for implementation of long-range plans and proposals
    • Monitor project progress, drafting and distributing periodic progress reports for leadership and stakeholders
    • Maintain compliance with applicable state laws, regulations, policies, and best practices
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or any related field preferred but not required
    • 5+ years of management experience in field-based project management for a company with a multi-site presence
    • Project management certification (PMP) preferred but not required
    • Experience in strategic planning, operations, and change management
    • Advanced skills in Excel and experience with CRMs
    • Hunger for knowledge with experience working with: Airtable, Monday.com, ZenDesk, Adobe, and other project management software and are comfortable integrating new platforms, implementation, and roll-outs across companies
    • You are flexible, adaptive, and resilient.
    • The ability and flexibility to travel up to 50%
    • You are ambitious, proactive, a self-starter, helpful and resourceful
    • Ability to coordinate and facilitate initiatives and with cross-functional teams.
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
    • Effective communicator and influencer, both presentation skills and written.
    • Experience in process mapping and execution
    • Excellent interpersonal skills know how to work well with diverse and dynamic teams across multiple functions, e.g., operations, sales, legal, marketing, technology
    • Strong negotiation skills, striking a balance between being flexible and driving for results with aggressive timelines
