Senior Product Design Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Design Manager to lead our design team and drive the evolution of our user experience. In this role, you will oversee the design and implementation of innovative solutions that align with our mission to empower artists and creatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, research, and leadership, to deliver intuitive and engaging products that delight our users.
Key Responsibilities:
Vision & Execution:
Define product vision and roadmap with product, research and engineering.
Translate business objectives and user needs into compelling solutions.
Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept development to final delivery.
Design Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
Establish and refine design processes to enhance efficiency and quality across projects.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure consistency across all products.
Process Improvement:
Implement a robust design review process that incorporates cross-functional feedback.
Integrate user research and testing into the design workflow to inform decisions.
Enhance collaboration between design, engineering, and research teams to streamline project execution.
Project Management:
Plan and manage multiple design projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources effectively.
Ensure timely delivery of design assets that meet high-quality standards.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Team Development:
Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating professional growth and skill development.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the design team.
Participate in hiring and onboarding of new design team members to build a strong, diverse team.
Qualifications:
Experience:
6+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven track record of designing and shipping successful digital products in new and innovative spaces.
Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Skills:
Strong expertise in UX/UI design principles and best practices.
Proficiency with design tools including Figma.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.

$135,000 - $170,000 a year
Salary depends on experience and geographical location.
Hybrid candidates in the Los Angeles, CA area will also be considered.
This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, such as candidateโs experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
