The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support accurate, timely month-end close. This role requires a well-rounded accounting professional with experience across accounts payable (AP), GL, inter-company accounting, and international compliance. You will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity of financial data, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting global financial compliance across entities.

How you'll make a difference day to day:

    • Month-End Close - manage the full close cycle including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, prepare and present close summaries, highlights, and key metrics to the CFO and senior leadership on a monthly basis
    • Accounts Payable - own AP processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, ensure appropriate coding, approval workflows, and vendor management practices are followed, manage credit card and employee travel expense reconciliations, ensuring policy compliance and timely posting of transactions
    • General Ledger - maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposals, track and amortize prepaid expenses monthly, ensuring proper cut-off and classification, record and manage recurring and ad hoc expense accruals, ensuring completeness and accuracy, oversee lease accounting schedules and compliance with ASC 842, track and account for company loans, including interest accruals and payment schedules
    • Inter-company Accounting & International Compliance - manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations across multiple legal entities, ensure proper documentation and alignment with transfer pricing policies, support international compliance efforts including VAT/GST tracking, local statutory requirements, and foreign currency transactions, collaborate with tax and legal advisors to ensure cross-border financial practices remain compliant
    • Process Improvement & Controls - enhance accounting policies and processes for scalability and automation, ensure strong internal controls and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
    • Audit & Reporting Support - support annual audits and global reporting requirements by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation, assist with ad hoc reporting and compliance-related projects as needed

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity and international exposure
    • Strong understanding of US GAAP, including lease accounting (ASC 842), inter-company accounting, and international compliance principles
    • Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Workday, Netsuite, Ramp, Navan, etc)
    • Indirectly oversee other more junior accountants
    • Advanced Excel skills and experience with reconciliations and large data sets
    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
    • CPA or progress toward certification strongly preferred
    • Experience with international entities, foreign currency, and VAT/GST accounting
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present to executive leadership
