Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced iOS application engineer at Keepsafe to create awesome user facing features that will ship to millions of people. As an iOS engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with designers and product management to build ideas and bring them to life. You will have full responsibility for iOS development. You’ll brainstorm new features and products, test them, launching early builds to production, fix bugs and work on improvements.

The iOS team at Keepsafe in Berlin is focused on building new apps that enable our users to take back ownership of various domains of their digital privacy.  You will also work with core infrastructure that provides real time sync, storage and other components. These underlying technologies make your life easy so you can focus on building features and services people love.

Responsibilities:

-Own the entire lifecycle of the next big feature, from design to implementation
-Work closely with our design, product and marketing teams to launch new products and iterate
-Build native user interactions using latest technologies (e.g. Swift) on top of our core infrastructure that ships to millions
-Work closely with customer support to identify problems and come up with improvements
-Participate in design and code reviews from your peers

Skills & Requirements:

-Own the entire lifecycle of core infrastructure, from requirements to design and implementation.
-Lay the foundation for a multi product codebase that is designed for the right amount of reusability and flexibility.
-Build reusable UI components to give Keepsafe products a consistent look and feel
-5+ years of professional programming experience and deep knowledge in one or more programming language (Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related education is preferred)
-Experience architecting software systems from the ground up
-Experience with iOS development (Swift 3)
-Strong knowledge of iOS performance tools and optimization techniques
-Proficient English language skills

Our Recruitment Process
Our interview process consists of several stages, each one allowing us get to know you better, professionally and technically. It is also an opportunity for you to gain a better understanding of our culture and the work we do. We move quickly and go from initial screen to an on-site within a week or less pending availability. If all goes well, we will have an offer by the end of the full day on-site. 

Our Onboarding Process
Global hires are invited to spend one month in our San Francisco office to enjoy the sunny California weather and meet with team! You'll likely be staying in our guest apartment three blocks from the office and the San Francisco Bay.
