    • Conduct an audit of every government loan, which could include credit and collateral documents, that has funded and post-closed; curing minor exceptions found during the review process, and curing deficiencies identified by the government agency after submission
    • Complete the audits accurately and submit all loans within 30 days from funding, and prior to the first payment date to minimize the financial risk to the Company, and could lead to the loan being identified as delinquent, which could result in foreclosure
    • Build loan in accordance with government agency requirements and internal guidelines
    • Confirm that all required loan documentation is included and accurate
    • Obtain any missing documentation from within the Company, third parties and borrowers; and/or correct any errors prior to submission of the loan
    • For all FHA loans, accurately complete all data entry input of key information into FHA Connection
    • For all VA loans, accurately review and update the VA Summary Sheet, and then enter the data from the VA Summary Sheet into the VA’s webLGY application
    • For all VA loans, follow up on all loans with a submission date of over one week, where the Loan Guaranty Certificate (LGC) has not been received
    • Submit VA Audit packages to the VA web site within one day of the request
    • Immediately respond to any notification that a loan has errors/omissions, and will not be insured as-is by HUD or VA. All Notice of Rejections (NOR) from HUD, or Deficiency Letters from VA are to be addressed, with all errors/omissions corrected, and package resubmitted within 10 days of receipt
    • Consistently review all delinquent loans, so that when payments become current, loan can be submitted
    • Accountable for the insurance of all loans allocated to the Specialist
    • Represent Keller Mortgage’s mission, vision and values with integrity and professionalism
    • Other duties as required 


    • Two or more years of experience working with Mortgage Loan documents (i.e. Closing Disclosure, Form 1003, 92900A, Appraisals, Compliance Inspection Reports, Title Policies, Homeowner Insurance Policies, etc.)
    • One or more years of experience as a Government Mortgage Loan Insurance Specialist or similar role
    • Demonstrated knowledge of all  FHA, VA, and USDA submission requirements
    • Demonstrated experience with Government Insuring and Shipping standards and requirements
    • Working knowledge of Government Agency Guidelines
    • Proven experience prioritizing projects based upon business demands and multiple requests from various entities in a fast-paced, high-production, deadline driven environment
    • Proven experience adhering to deadlines and expected delivery dates
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to fellow employees, customers and external vendors in a professional, articulate and respectful manner
    • Demonstrated ability to handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact
    • Proven ability to multi-task, and stay organized in an independent environment
    • Possess a passion and desire to continuously improve their style and work productivity  
    • HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (Finance/Accounting)
