The Human Resources Training and Development Manager is responsible for proving guidance to all training initiatives and programs throughout Keller Mortgage. This includes making sure that all training programs are generally uniform across the company. The Training and Development Manager will assist with the development and design of all training programs ensuring that various training methods are used to accommodate all learning types and the remote aspect of our business model. 

Responsibilities

    • Point person on developing Keller Mortgage's training; ensuring that all training follows standard training methods and guidelines
    • Work with the various Department Managers and Department Trainers to ensure that all department training classes are consistent and effective
    • Develop mandatory training programs such as Red Flag rules, Sexual Harassment, etc.; ensuring that state and federal training classes are conducted per regulations and laws
    • Conduct reviews of the training programs, and provides feedback to the department Trainers, Managers, HR Manager and EVPs
    • Work with the department Trainers on their ongoing training skills; including Train-the-Trainer programs
    • Assist with developing Company-wide mentoring programs for our entry level/junior positions
    • Provide guidance on which Learning Management System would be best based on future growth projections of Keller Mortgage
    • Provide guidance and assistance with helping to define career paths for employees of Keller Mortgage
    • Assist in monitoring Keller Mortgage’s employee culture, and providing feedback on employee morale and other employee relation topics that would help to retain current employees and recruit top level candidates into Keller Mortgage
    • Assist with additional projects as needed
    • Represent Keller Mortgage's mission, vision and values with integrity and professionalism

Qualifications

    • Four or more years of experience as a Training and Development professional in a growing company; preferred candidates will have at least two years of workforce training experience
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to fellow employees, customers and external vendors in a professional, articulate and respectful manner
    • Demonstrated ability to handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact
    • Proven experience prioritizing projects based upon business demands and multiple requests from various entities in a fast-paced, high-production, deadline driven environment
    • Proven experience adhering to deadlines and expected delivery dates
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to fellow employees, customers and external vendors in a professional, articulate and respectful manner
    • Demonstrated ability to handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact
    • Proven ability to multi-task, and stay organized in an independent environment
    • Possess a passion and desire to continuously improve their style and work productivity  
    • HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (Finance/Accounting)
