The Role
- As Sales Development Manager at Kenko, you’ll lead our team of outbound SDRs responsible for generating pipeline from fitness and wellness businesses across the U.S.—from yoga and Pilates studios to spas, gyms, and modern wellness centers. You’ll play a critical role in scaling our top-of-funnel motion, introducing AI-powered prospecting strategies, and coaching your team to exceed pipeline goals.
- This is a builder’s role. You’ll implement process rigor, refine outreach cadences, and empower your team with the best tools to drive meaningful conversations with local business owners. You’ll Inspire a team rooted in Kenko’s mission—combining startup grit with a passion for helping wellness businesses thrive locally. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to ensure SDR efforts are aligned with GTM strategy, messaging, and growth targets.

What You Will Do
- Be a frontline leader who is obsessed with exceeding quota, execution, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Hire, coach, and lead a high-performing team of SDRs focused on outbound pipeline creation.
- Deploy AI-powered tools and workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Gong, Lavender, and Regie.ai) to increase personalization, productivity, and conversion.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture rooted in individual and team development, coaching, recognition, and accountability.
- Champion a data-driven culture by leveraging analytics and insights to inform decision-making, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop dashboards and track KPIs to monitor team performance, identify trends, and take proactive action.
- Develop playbooks for targeting fitness and wellness verticals, crafting relevant outreach, and objection handling.
- Build a fun, accountable, and mission-aligned team culture grounded in curiosity, learning, and execution.
What You Need to Succeed
- 2+ years of experience leading SDR, BDR, or inside sales teams in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Proven success building and scaling sales development processes—including prospecting strategy, outbound playbooks, and onboarding programs—with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing both in-office and remote SDR teams, with a focus on driving performance, consistency, and culture across locations.
- Strong coaching and communication skills with a track record of developing talent and fostering a culture of high energy, ambition, and accountability.
- Passion for the fitness and wellness industry—and a genuine desire to help local business owners thrive.
- Operate with agility and precision: able to pivot strategies, adopt new AI tools, and lead through change without losing momentum.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying performance gaps and taking decisive action.
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Zoom, Fireflies, PhoneBurner, and AI platforms like ChatGPT, Lavender, and Regie.ai.BA/BS degree or relevant experience
