Kensho will lead and own the development of an AI Platform in service to the enterprise’s mission and commitment to customers. Our platform of common AI capabilities will infuse new intelligence and skills into S&P Global and transform how our customers marshal the power of data.

In this role, you will be responsible for helping lead the S&P Global AI Accelerator program, the execution engine of S&P Global AI strategy designed to identify, prioritize, and facilitate the highest-value AI initiatives across the enterprise. You will play a pivotal role in an extremely high-leverage and transformational program affecting an $11B annual revenue global enterprise with an over 100 year legacy. You will be a member of the Kensho’s strategy organization, reporting to the Head of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships and working closely with the Head of Operations, as well as a cross-functional team consisting of business development, product, legal, communications, design, and engineering roles at Kensho and S&P Global divisions (Commodity Insights, Market Intelligence, Ratings, Indices, and Mobility). As the first technical program manager at Kensho, you will also have the opportunity to shape and define the program management function.

What You'll Do:

    • Collaborate with business, product, and engineering leaders to define project requirements, scopes, timeline, and impact 
    • Create and maintain project trackers across the portfolio of AI Accelerator projects
    • Schedule, prepare agendas for, and run regular check-in meetings with key project stakeholders
    • Help with the design and application of role and responsibility matrices for cross-functional project teams 
    • Ensure project timelines, deliverables, scopes, and resource allocations are up-to-date 
    • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across project teams
    • Analyze project tracking data, identify risk, opportunities, trends, and prepare situation briefings to AI Accelerator leadership

    • Functional Expertise - Experience curating and appropriately applying common product, project, and program management frameworks such as Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, PMI (project management institute), and RICE (Reach, Impact, Certainty, and Effort)

What You'll Need:

    • 4 to 6 years of experience in technical program management or adjacent roles (e.g., product management, project management, solutions engineering, operations, strategy, etc.) with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical programs. 
    • Familiarity with the business impacts of technical subject matters such as artificial intelligence models, software development kits, application programming interfaces, data pipelines
    • Thrive in unstructured environments, and bring great organization skills managing multiple stakeholders
    • Have exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to influence without authority, build cross-organizational support, cooperation and action around initiatives and process adoption.
    • Have a high threshold for navigating ambiguity and are able to balance setting strategic priorities with rapid, high-quality execution.
$140,000 - $180,000 a year
The salary range does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
