Scope:
We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical junior FP&A Finance Analysts to join our finance team. This role will support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, and contribute to strategic planning and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, a passion for financial modelling, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts by collecting and analysing financial data
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions for forecasting
- Maintain and update financial databases and dashboards as required
- Participate in ad hoc analysis and projects as required by senior finance leadership
- Be highly self-motivated, able to work independently and within a close-knit team
- Be able to communicate effectively on calls
- Able to apply financial analysis to support decision making
- Able to build basic financial models
- Able to focus on functional cost efficiencies and support the identification of opportunities to improve performance
Knowledge and Experience:
- English speaking
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft tools – word, excel and reporting tools e.g. Hyperion and Power BI
- Be able to demonstrate a attention to detail
- Ability to work to strict timescales in a fast-paced environment and deadlines and prioritise work
- Team player
- Be self-disciplined, reliable, and capable of working to set time frames
Skills and Abilities:
- Nature and level of contacts within/outside the organization:
- Able to clearly and regularly communicate with Finance colleagues
- Work very closely with the FP&A / P&E Finance teams
- Close co-ordination with other finance functions
