We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented K-12 Education State Adoptions Bid Writer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting comprehensive bid proposals for state adoption processes, ensuring compliance with all state-specific requirements. This role demands a deep understanding of educational standards, curriculum frameworks, and the competitive landscape within the K-12 educational market.

You will...

    • Lead the development and participate in other writing projects to support the organization’s mission such as presentations, marketing content, specific school or district needed documents, with a primary focus on State Adoption Bid Submissions and paperwork.
    • Review and analyze RFP documents thoroughly to understand the client’s requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements. This includes state adoption requirements and school and district requirements.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales teams, and other stakeholders to gather technical and strategic information necessary for the proposal and regularly perform risk assessments that identify potential risks or challenges in fulfilling the RFP requirements/State Adoption Bids and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Plan the proposal, develop a timeline, create content and ensure proposal compliance which includes writing and editing proposals, including executive summaries, technical sections, solution descriptions, and pricing details. 

What we're looking for...

    • 3-5 years experience working on State Adoptions, RFP/RFQ/RFIs, or large scale district HQIM implementations required
    • Strong attention to detail, experience with cross functional collaboration, and operational excellence 
    • Strong understanding of the K-12 market, K-12 educational standards, curriculum development, and the state adoption process. 
$60,000 - $80,000 a year
Salary range is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
