Senior Product Designer

San Francisco
Kiddom helps K-12 teachers better address their student's unique needs, via our learning platform that integrates content, curriculum, and analytics. Hundreds of thousands of teachers trust us in their classrooms, with Kiddom having a presence in 70% of school districts nationwide. Our intention is to build a platform that will help to level the playing field between affluent schools with greater access to resources and the other 80% of schools.

To tackle this challenge, we are seeking an experienced Product Designer to design products and features across clients, working collaboratively with engineering, product and other teams. What really matters to us is that you're able to empathize with and advocate for our users, and able to take your designs from idea all the way through to product release.

    • Collect and organize raw input from internal stakeholders and primary user groups to drive design directions
    • See the macro picture of what Kiddom is trying to build in the long term and break down those individual pieces into a cohesive system
    • Craft an experience educators can trust and feel excited by
    • Work closely with the educator team at Kiddom, running classroom prototypes and occasionally stepping into the classroom to understand user behavior and the problem

What we look for

    • Experience in product design and a portfolio demonstrating design capabilities relevant to mobile and web apps
    • Experience designing products that have been shipped and used/loved by a lot of users
