Requirements

      Hiring Priorities
    • Accounting Operations Mastery: Strong experience managing accounts payable, receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and daily cash tracking.
    • Financial Reporting & Audit: Proven ability to manage month-end closings, general ledger reconciliations, and coordinate financial audits.
    • Process Improvement & Automation: Demonstrated initiative in identifying inefficiencies and implementing automation to enhance accounting processes.
    • Preferred Experience
    • ERP & Financial Systems: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Salesforce as sub-ledger systems.
    • Fast-Paced Environment: Background working in startup or high-growth fintech settings with deadline-driven demands.
    • Data & Reporting Tools: Familiarity with data visualization, SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

    • Manage daily accounting operations: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and daily cash tracking to ensure accurate financial management.
    • Perform reconciliations and month-end closings: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts and execute month-end closing processes.
    • Financial reporting and analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal management, banks, investors, and third parties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
    • Drive process improvements and automation: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes through automation and efficiency initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Support financial audits and compliance: Coordinate and manage the company’s financial audit activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
