Requirements
- Accounting Ops Expertise: Experience building or refining the accounting function, including hands-on experience owning month-end close and financial reporting.
- Financial Leadership: Experience as a finance leader in a professional services or infrastructure services environment, ideally with exposure to PE-backed companies.
- Technical Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with percentage of completion (POC) rev recognition with capability to build or improve accounting processes.
- Private Equity Growth Environment: Background working in a high-growth, PE-backed platform. Ideally exposure to M&A integration and aggressive company growth.
- Team Building and Management: Experience growing and managing an F&A team, including hiring and mentoring controllers and staff accountants.
- FP&A and Financial Reporting: Familiarity with FP&A, including the ability to refine and own management reporting packages and communicate financial results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Lead financial operations and accounting: Lead & refine accounting ops. Hire the team and architect the process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Enhance financial reporting & sponsor alingment: Manage monthly financial & operating reporting packages, providing the information, insights and direction to support executive decision-making.
- Refine percentage of completion (POC) accounting: Build process to oversee revenue recognition for material projects, ensuring proper matching of costs and revenue in line with accounting standards.
- Support strategic growth initiatives: Collaborate on financial planning related to M&A, integration of add-on acquisitions, and scaling the business towards targeted EBITDA growth.
- Build and lead finance team: Play a key role in hiring and developing the finance and accounting team, including the future controller, and establish effective team management practices.
