Job Title: Sales & Promotion Representative

Location: You must be based in or around Paris and willing to work without a physical office to apply for this job.
 
Job Description:
The Kingfish Company is growing faster than ever before. As our Sales & Promotion Representative in Paris, you will play a key role in our global expansion. In this role you will be responsible for building a pipeline of gastronomic chef leads to meet business plans, quotas, and company objectives in France, with an emphasis on the broader Paris area.
An important aspect of this role is independent market research and the qualification of opportunities in your market. As our Lead Generation France with initial emphasis on Paris, you will have extensive contact with restaurants and chefs, you will work together with our distributors’ sales and marketing teams to increase the demand for Kingfish products in the area. Previous experience and strong relationships within Paris’ restaurant scene are therefore a must have.
 
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for generating leads through phone calls, social media, emails and visiting restaurants.
 Develop strong knowledge of the company’s products and philosophy to achieve sales success.
 
Conduct research to identify potential new leads.
 
Research, track, maintain and update chefs leads database and create a strong sales pipeline.
 
Make outgoing calls and visit restaurants to qualify leads and develop new relationships, with and without the collaboration of our established French / Paris distributors.
 
Organize and assist with the organization of special events (tastings, chef events etc.) and build relationships with the relevant chef organisations in the market.
 
Develop our relationships with existing and new distributors across the region for successful business development and growth in and of the Horeca channel for Kingfish in Paris and France

About you
 
Requirements:
5 + years’ experience within Paris’ restaurant scene.
Curiosity, passion and taste for great seafood.
Interest in sustainable food systems and passion to share this with the market.
Ability to represent Kingfish brand in a professionally manner, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with potential customers, clients, and other stakeholders, in French (native)
Passion for sales and growing the impact of The Kingfish Company, as the most sustainable fish producer in the market.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office package.
