Where will you work?
As our new Process Controls Engineer, you will work closely with both our technical people as well as Production people, all technical enthusiasts with different backgrounds, cultures, and nationalities, which will make you feel right at home. Together with all these creative professionals, you will work on the design of our high-tech Recirculating Aquaculture Systems for both our current facility and our newly planned expansions worldwide.
 
About the role
As our new Process Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, field engineering and testing of our automated systems within our production facility. Through automation and control, you will be able to further optimize our systems on a company wide scale. Examples of these SCADA systems are our life support, feeding, heating-cooling, water intake filtration, processing & packaging, and fish logistic systems, amongst others.
Working closely with our contracted software design engineers, you will be responsible for the innovative design and PLC programming of our existing system upgrades and future expansions. Moreover, you will support our Senior Electrical Engineer in holistic design by using your experience and creativity to provide detailed concepts, layout diagrams, line diagrams and P&IDs. 


Your tasks will be:

    • Further improvement of the automation of our current systems
    • Designing and implementing new ways to automate systems.
    • PLC-programming
    • Identifying and eliminating issues
    • Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience within the field of Automation
    • A BSc degree (or higher post-graduate degree) in the field of Process Control or equivalent
    • You can manage multiple complex projects at the same time.
    • You have international work experience and are proficient in English; speak, read, and write.
    • You constantly want to upgrade your technical knowledge and keep up to date with the latest technologies.
    • Experience with Siemens Tia Portal (Plc 1x00 & HMI).
    • Experience with Protocols (modbus tcp/rtu, profinet, dali).
    • Experience with field devices (VSD, Instrumentation).
    • Experience reading electrical diagrams and P&ID.
    • Knowledge in IT/OT networks and devices configuration.
    • `Knowledge in SCADA systems (inductive automation/ignition)
