*Note: This role is anticipated to last at least 6 months through December 2024 and has a high likelihood of continuing through June 2025..

**Note: Location expectations. This role would serve the Southeast LA area (Huntington Park, Bell, South Gate, Maywood)
-The person in this role will meet at our KIPP SoCal office in downtown LA on Mondays for joint team time, team meeting and action planning for the week.
- Team members are the required to work onsite one day for each school in their portfolios.
- Team members are reimbursed mileage monthly for their traveling based on organizational guidelines. 

Responsibilities

    • Work directly with the Associate Director of Student Recruitment & Enrollment (ADSRE) and Student Recruitment & Enrollment Associate (SREA) to drive recruitment and enrollment for a portfolio of 3-5 schools. 
    • Entry data and maintain accurate information relevant platforms such as Hubspot, SchoolMint, and internal data management systems.
    • Serve as an ambassador for KIPP SoCal by engaging with families and community members at community events or via community canvassing activities. 
    • Execute regional student recruitment strategies, which include but are not limited to phone banking, outreach to community organizations/businesses, local childcare centers or community schools, and regional summer retention activities and communication for families. 
    • Track enrollment activities and progress towards weekly targets.
    • Create a database of prospective/ potential students and high yielding recruitment activities and events. 
    • Increase community awareness for each school within the portfolio target communities and work with the regional teas to execute marketing campaigns
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective families throughout the entire recruitment process from the first interaction through the time they start school 
    • Driving % of prospective student applications for each school served

You’ll Be Qualified If You Have

    • At least a high school diploma
    • Be able to commit to full-time hours of 40 hours per week, some of which may happen on evenings and/or weekends
    • Have experience with data management, including but not limited to data entry and data reporting.
    • Able to walk/stand for long periods of time (2-3 hrs/day)
    • Reliable transportation is required; Valid CA driver's license
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; enjoys building relationships.
    • Candidates will have to manage multiple projects for multiple schools. 
    • Bilingual (specifically English, Spanish and/or Mandarin) strongly preferred

Benefits & Compensation

    • The position will start at an hourly rate of $20 and is guaranteed through the end of the year, but if successful in the role, there could be an opportunity to extend the contract or transition to a school-based or regional role within our organization.
    • 100% of healthcare premium costs covered by employer, dependents added at 50% of the cost
    • 401(k) plan with up to 6% match by KIPP SoCal
