At KIPP SoCal, we are working to understand racism as a system into which we have all been socialized, to recognize our systemic racial patterns to support our learning and growth, and to put our energy into engaging in ongoing self awareness, continuing education, relationship building and actual anti-racist practice. We know our students and families are disproportionately affected by the same injustices that took the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks and countless others, and we are committed to the causes of racial justice and equitable opportunity, both for our students and families at KIPP, and for the country in which we live. How do you see the role of Principal contributing to that work?✱
