Please note: This opening is for '24-'25 school year. New hires typically start 10-12 days after they sign their offer letter.
What You'll Do
- Under the supervision of a classroom teacher, assist with planning and executing small group instruction in a kindergarten class to reinforce lesson objectives, prepare homework assignments, correct student assignments and track student data
- Implement classroom systems and routines in order to manage behavior and maximize student learning
- Actively participate in professional development sessions and working with lead teacher, principal, instructional coaches, etc.
- Develop instructional skills to hopefully become a lead teacher in the future
- Other duties as assigned by school administration
You'll Be Qualified If You Have
- Associate’s Degree or completion of two years of schooling towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Passing score on the California Basic Skills Test (CBEST) preferred, or desire to take CBEST
- Relentless determination to do whatever it takes to help our students succeed

- Goal-driven, accountable, and reliable; Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
