What You'll Do

    • Drive the implementation of the global training strategy in the area of responsibility across backliners and frontliners and all sub-departments (including but not limited to office-based, kitchen-based, front-of-house, and warehouse Kitopians):
    • Design and plan training programs aligned to the global training strategy and departmental needs
    • Lead and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions both online and offline 
    • Cascade training knowledge through designing, planning and leading train-the-trainer programs with stakeholders (including but not limited to Team Leads, Operations Leads, etc.)
    • Manage Trainers trained through Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs, ensure continuity and up-to-date knowledge and ensure adequate training delivery
    • Lead and oversee employee induction and orientation for all new Kitopians in the area of responsibility
    • Act as SME for all training and learning topics in your area of responsibility:
    • Adopt a customer-oriented approach to internal customers, maintain close collaboration with key stakeholders and act as key partner
    • Identify training needs in collaboration with department and team leaders 
    • Design, plan, and deliver training programs and materials based on identified training needs 
    • Monitor training quality and impact on business, and measure its effectiveness based on defined success criteria and KPIs
    • Collaborate and seek feedback from training stakeholders to assess impact
    • Audit, maintain and enrich Kitopi’s LMS for the area of responsibility as well as topics of expertise, ensuring content is readily available and up-to-date
    • Monitor data cleanliness and accuracy
    • Regularly report on training completion and progression to management and stakeholders
    • Maintain and create learning journeys aligned to the global training strategy and the department’s goals
    • Act as a change driver in the organization:
    • Assist in special projects and initiatives by creating, planning and delivering training programs
    • Drive initiatives with high employee impact

What Are We Looking For

    • Industry and organization experience:
    • Strong F&B experience, such as in restaurants or hotels, ideally in large organizations
    • Experience working in a complex matrix organization or environment
    • Previous experience in training, learning and development: 
    • Deep understanding of adult learning principles and their applications to different training contexts
    • Knowledge of a variety of training methods and techniques, including interactive activities, simulations, case studies, and role plays to enhance the learning experience 
    • Experience with instructional and/or learning content creation and content design 
    • Experiences with LMS, such as learner journey creation, course assignment, course completion monitoring, and reporting
    • Personal skills:
    • Autonomous and able to work independently towards targets
    • Strong people skills, with stakeholder management and collaboration skills
    • Team player with positive energy 
    • Can-do attitude, not afraid to work under pressure in a high-performance environment
