We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented IT Helpdesk Specialist who is passionate about technology to join our team! This role is responsible for delivering outstanding IT support with stellar customer service and timeliness. The IT Helpdesk Specialist is a key member of a collaborative team that provides critical IT services, tools and technologies, and responds to and finds solutions to technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

    • Providing uncompromising commitment to and high quality end-user technical support
    • Computer provisioning, deployment, and maintenance
    • Assisting with IT infrastructure and engineering projects
    • New hire orientation training, desk setups, and on/off boarding support
    • Troubleshooting network-related issues
    • Learning and implementing IT best practices

Required:

    • 2+ years experience providing technical support in a multi-platform user environment
    • A positive user-facing attitude that mixes customer service with user education and empowerment
    • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and can drive efficiencies
    • Strong capabilities in Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows
    • Solid understanding of network fundamentals and wireless infrastructure
    • Excellent working knowledge of Okta, GSuite and Active Directory preferred
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to exercise good judgement, to independently assess risk, and to make critical decisions
    • Experience with ticketing systems, inventory management, and user administration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) a plus
