Job Summary

Your role as an Product Intake Specialist includes, but is not limited to, meeting with trucks as they deliver new products, unload the pallets, and store them in the appropriate section of the warehouse. During some shifts, you will also help stock the retail floor. You must ensure all of the necessary inventory is present, report any issues, and make sure that the products are readily available to all members of the retail team. Our ideal applicant has strong physical fitness, forklift experience, and excellent organizational skills.

As a Kiva Product Intake Specialist, you will...

    • Unload all incoming shipments to the warehouse
    • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
    • Store inventory in the correct areas of the warehouse
    • Replenish inventory when necessary
    • Count all inventory, document and report all issues in our ERP systems.  
    • Receive Purchase Orders or Sales Orders in our ERP System
    • Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse
    • Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
    • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
    • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
    • Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
    • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements

What we're looking for...

    • 2 years experience handling live inventory & WMS/ERP systems.
    • Someone with strong communication and organizational skills
    • Proficient knowledge in warehouse inventory management through WMS software
    • Ability to create new, more efficient processes from scratch
    • Ability to generate solutions to problems ad hoc
    • Forklift Operator Certification preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to stand, kneel, and bend over without much assistance 80% of time
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
$20 - $20 an hour
