Job Summary

Kiva is looking for a Trade Marketing Manager for the Midwest Region to join Kiva’s award-winning and industry- leading marketing and sales team.  This role specializes in developing and implementing locally relevant trade marketing initiatives in partnerships with the Sales and Marketing teams and retail partners to drive the business.  These activities include: primary and secondary display implementation, budtender and consumer engagement, and account specific activations that tie to growth strategies. 
The Kiva Trade Marketing Manager will work directly with the Kiva sales and trade marketing teams along with retail accounts ensuring national alignment and seamless execution. The role will cover multiple states and require travel.

As Kiva's Trade Marketing Manager - Midwest, you'll...

    • Work cross functionally internally and direct with retailers to develop retail marketing programs for all Kiva brands which include but is not limited to: new product launches, promotions, in-store displays, customer outreach, and other retail support activities
    • Guide the field teams to ensure that Kiva shows up correctly in stores through visual merchandising, customized promotional programming, digital marketing, and sales velocity focused activities
    • Ensure team product knowledge and successful educational executions in markets
    • Work with the Creative and Brand Marketing teams to develop assets for retail execution
    • Analyze purchasing data and develop commercial plans to maximize growth performance and optimize ROI
    • Assist in planning and execution of trade and consumer events, which includes attending to represent Kiva
    • Communicate regularly with teams on all updates around asset development, SOPs, and other trade marketing tools
    • Recommend optimizations to evergreen assets in your market and work with the marketing teams to bring them to life
    • Source, manage, and allocate merch for the field teams including vetting vendors, PO creation, and budget management
    • Develop SOPs as needed to ensure alignment and maximum efficiency
    • Use tools day to day including Salesforce, Asana, Canva, and more
    • Manage the regional Trade Marketing budget

What we're looking for...

    • 3+ years of TRADE MARKETING experience in similar role
    • Degree in marketing, business, or related field
    • Experience working directly with retail accounts
    • Excellent organization and communication skills
    • Sales experience a plus
    • Salesforce experience a plus
    • Ability to travel (up to 35% of time, depending on activities)
    • Must be over 21+ years of age
    • Cannabis, alcohol, or traditional CPG experience preferred
$113,000 - $126,000 a year
