Job Summary

Your new role as a Kiva Sales & Service Distribution Manager is focused on the Los Angeles warehouse and team management to lead our Southern CA logistics organization. In this role you will lead our talented team of drivers, order fulfillment, customer service, reconciliation and collections efforts for our suite of customers that reside in the Southern CA Region. Management of current KPI’s including OTIF measurement, FIFO measurement, product intake and optimizing our logistics and fleet team to ensure we maintain the best in class customer service and logistics team to deliver our world class partners.

As a Kiva Distribution Manager, you'll...

    • Use computer systems to control stock levels, inventory accuracy, orders, delivery arrangements and transportation
    • Evaluate quality and performance of staff using data from computer systems
    • Manage a team of department leads to achieve goal requirements
    • Work with outside agencies including customers and suppliers
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements including health and safety regulations
    • Keep accurate records using nominated systems
    • Implement new systems as needed, sometimes abruptly
    • Manage monthly/quarterly budgets

What we're looking for...

    • Bachelor’s degree in business management or minimum 7 years of experience in Distribution
    • Great leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to motivate staff
    • Extensive knowledge in distribution software; routing, order entry, order packing, efficiencies
    • Analytically driven mindset
    • Ability to generate operational systems from scratch and re-evaluate as needed to determine areas of improvement
    • Proactively plan on implementation of new systems and procedures to minimize disruption of existing daily workflow
