Job Summary

The Kiva Manufacturing Inc. (KMI), Information Systems Analyst leads the charge towards making Kiva’s software systems as efficient, accurate, and productive as possible. This position requires technical skill, data competency, strategic thinking, and strong communication. Approximately 50% of time will be spent interacting with business users and external vendors, and the other 50% will be spent designing, building, testing, and training on our systems.

As KMI's Information Systems Analyst, you'll...

    • Take ownership of existing and new functionality related to our Rootstock ERP and Metrc Track and Trace systems
    • Identify issues and opportunities in those systems by coordinating with stakeholders, understanding and prioritizing their needs and challenges with respect to Kiva’s overall goals
    • Develop solutions via configuration and declarative programming in Salesforce and other similar platforms
    • Manage external developers and software vendors to oversee the implementation of bug fixes and new features
    • Translate and organize requirements and specifications from business users to technical designs, flow diagrams, and other tools as needed
    • Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures. Develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process
    • Design, implement, and upgrade information systems to meet business and user needs

What we're looking for...

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
    • Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with relational databases, data modeling, declarative programming, system maintenance, and administration
    • Experience designing, building, installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
    • Experience configuring Salesforce automation and architecture
    • Experience with ERPs, specifically for supply chain and/or manufacturing
    • 2+ years experience working with IT systems, in cannabis a plus
    • Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
    • Ability to prioritize work and execute projects independently and as part of a larger team
    • Working knowledge of a wide variety of declarative programming concepts
