Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative main responsibility is to develop existing accounts and close new qualified customers in Michigan. This expert salesperson must be very knowledgeable about our product line, represent honesty, integrity and professionalism, while providing outstanding customer service. You will work in partnership with Territory Managers, Key Account Manager, Senior Sales Manager and Director of Sales to identify new business opportunities and nurture existing dispensary accounts.

As Kiva's Inside Sales Representative, you will...

    • Develop and own the territory with the goal of maximizing inside sales
    • Proactively handle and respond to a high volume of customers and businesses efficiently
    • Generate qualified leads by means of web research, active license search from the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency
    • Monitor, respond to, and direct inbound traffic from orders inbox and phone line
    • Become an in-house authority and lead E-comm orders / accounts (Leaflink/Salesforce)
    • Act as Point of Contact for Territory Managers on PTO
    • Handle and disseminate weekly menu
    • Set up and onboard new accounts in Leaflink
    • Assess customer needs, answer questions, and assist with ordering process
    • Generate and develop pipeline, follow up as necessary
    • Assist the Territory Manager and Regional Sales Manager with account requests
    • Provide sales reports to management
    • Meet individual goals and collaborate with other sales reps to optimally meet team goals
    • Source new opportunities through outbound strategies to meet monthly new account & reactivation targets 

What we're looking for...

    • Minimum of 2 years sales experience preferably in the Michigan Cannabis Industry
    • Experience running a territory of 50-200 accounts while handling a portfolio of leading industry brands strongly preferred
    • Hyper-organized and detail-oriented, able to balance many tasks at once
    • Experience providing excellent customer service
    • Proficiency using Microsoft office and/or Google Suite. Leaflink and Salesforce experience is a plus.
    • Experience handling high volume incoming calls, emails, text messages
    • Confirmed experience handling high volume sales
    • Experience working in the cannabis industry preferred!
    • Experience working with well recognized brand name company strongly preferred
$27.41 - $33.51 an hour
