Responsibilities
- Build multiple service platforms for different aspects of technologies, e.g. Encoding, DRM and Live.
- Manage complex services at scale, e.g. distribute thousands of videos in one day.
- Architect and design software systems and write high quality code.
- Operate service with high reliability and optimize service cost continually.
- Help teams become more autonomous and allow the developer to focus on technical development.
- Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot problems of service.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of backend development experience.
- Experience with AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda).
- Experience with IaC such as Terraform.
- Experience with container technology, such as Docker.
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar clustering solutions.
- Experience with programming languages, Go or Python.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Nice To Have
- Knowledge of multimedia and adaptive streaming technologies, such as media container, Codec, MPEG-DASH and HLS.
- Understand the importance of smart metrics and alerting.
