About the Role

In this role as a Senior Manager of Org Ops, you’ll be the Competence Group Lead for the largest Klarna domain of Consumer Operations.

You are expected to drive and support with the following:

    • Creating the strategic and tactical plans to develop the Customer Ops Organization
    • Planning and executing activities/sessions to drive skills development and knowledge sharing
    • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
    • Owning performance management, compensation, benefits, development programs, etc
    • Challenging people to take their next step in their irregular career path
    • Equipping the domains with the right capabilities through staffing and workforce planning, allocation, and prioritization
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
    • Actively ensuring a balanced organization that meets the needs of the people and allows for scaling over time
    • Setting up fair and sustainable reward structures that compensate our people based on the quality of their work (Pay per Performance setting experience is a plus)
    • Setting and managing compensation for the Competence line (your group of CLs and their Klarnauts) according to current policies and salary bands
    • Defining KPIs for measuring progress and success
    • Manage org budget and ensuring it is used effectively and according to the plan
    • Representing the Competence in the different Klarna Domains

Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5+ years experience as a Consultant with tech organizations that operate with high velocity and has a high tolerance of ambiguity or as an HRBP
    • A track record of providing  consultation to senior leadership on strategic initiatives
    • Strong understanding of HR domains including compensation, performance management, and leadership development
    • Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on our employee base
    • Demonstrated ability to partner within and outside the organization
    • Knowledge and experience in technology businesses and familiarity with their global Culture, People, and Performance practices and policies
    • Unquestioned integrity with assertiveness, presence, and confidence
    • Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and extreme flexibility to be proactive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions
    • Tenacity and the ability to build from scratch are imperative
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Bachelor's degree
