What you’ll get to do
- Be responsible for the development and operation of the system, which includes operation work, maintaining and evolving the system, solving integration issues
- Work with large scale, highly available and resilient modern financial systems
- Propose and drive the changes to improve the system design as well as the tooling for our bank operations teams, which manually handles the exceptional cases
- Learn and share knowledge and maintain the communications with stakeholders within and outside of the team
- Ensure our team serves as a simple and reliable interface between Klarna and partner banks
Who You Are:
- Proficient in Erlang+OTP, with a willingness to embrace Erlang for highly experienced developers in Elixir.
- Experience with Postgres, Kafka, AWS, and Python is highly desirable.
- A proven track record as a senior developer or integration/delivery lead, demonstrating effective stakeholder communication and timely delivery of projects.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of questioning and transforming business processes and structures.
- Committed to driving efficiency, embracing automation, and simplifying complex systems.
- Open to taking on operational tasks and legacy challenges with a focus on resolving them through innovation and strategic thinking.
