The Project Management Office (PMO) partners with our clients and internal teams to deliver high value and quality programs, projects, and deliverables. While balancing timelines, scopes, and budgets this team collaborates with subject matter experts, client services, and client stakeholders to ensure projects meet clients’ business objectives. 

The PMO has smart, dedicated, and team-oriented individuals who work with diverse cross-functional teams to do the right thing for our clients. We apply the rigor of best practices while continually evolving our ways of working to improve our delivery and client outcomes. 

Responsibilities

    • Leads and oversees project management activities
    • Identifies risks and works with cross-functional leads to escalate to senior leadership
    • Key client-facing member of a cross-functional leadership team that is responsible for leading the practice of Project Management and owning the P&L
    • Responsible for managing a large portfolio of work ($5M+)Responsible for scope definition, budget development, resource and timeline planning
    • Partners with key stakeholders and leaders to own the P&L of set portfolio(s), and meets profitability targets
    • Fully manages the team's capacity as well as billability and communicates about capacity to managers
    • Delivers and creates positive client experiences and delivery, even in the most challenging circumstances, in partnership with the client services teams
    • Monitors client needs, objectives and status and provides support to address the most challenging situations
    • Partnering with the Client Services leads to drive the business forward
    • Contributes to craft evolution
    • Actively participates in staff planning, recruiting and interviewing. Develop a succession plan for your team and yourself
    • Responsible for demand planning and forecasting for your portfolio
    • Supports business development and participates in pitches
    • Builds and leads high performance teams and drivers cross-functional team excellence
    • Leads, manages, and creates an inclusive environment for global, geographically distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced communication and presentation skills
    • Advanced business and financial acumen
    • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
    • Exceptional client service mindset, in both delivery and solutions
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Proficient with project management tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Projects, Smartsheets, TFS, Jira, financial processing / tools
    • Proficient in change management strategies and systems’ implementations
    • Solid understanding of agency/marketing/sales environment
    • Experience in Marketing Services (agency / consulting)Working experience with both waterfall + agile methodologies
    • Understanding of SCRUM methodology
    • Post secondary Education 10+ years of project management experience3+ years managing / mentoring teams
    • Comfort with and enthusiasm for integrating AI into your work
