We’re hiring a Product Manager to join our Financial Product team. In this role, you'll be integral to managing the full lifecycle of our financial products.
You'll start by setting strategic goals, researching new features, and creating requirements documents. You'll handle user acceptance testing, deliver presentations, and oversee both the management of existing products and the launch of new, profitable ones. Collaborating with the tech team, you'll design customer journeys and financial solutions, monitor product profitability, and suggest enhancements. You'll also assist in developing strategies for different market segments, craft tailored propositions based on market needs, and ensure each product has a compelling unique selling proposition (USP)
What you'll do:
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders like MDP, Visa, and banks to meet product-related requirements.
- Develop new financial solutions to address business needs.
- Explore and leverage opportunities for potential partnerships.
- Prepare approval memos and business cases to secure necessary approvals.
- Track product and program performance, monitor financial KPIs, and address any risks or losses.
- Propose and implement new technologies or internal enhancements to maintain a competitive edge.
- Define project scopes and deliverables within budget, collaborating with the implementation team.
- Handle marketing and communication activities, and position products and services internally and externally.
- Conduct regular market scans, monitor Klivvr’s competitive position, and identify market gaps.
- Develop pricing proposals aligned with internal strategy and market standards.
- Enhance training materials and empower front-line staff with financial product knowledge.
- Conduct business training sessions as needed.
- Identify process gaps, propose solutions or workarounds, and oversee their implementation.
- Create and monitor procedures for new products and services.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:
- 4+ years of experience with a focus on consumer financial products, business analytics, portfolio analysis, and budgeting.
- Own the outcome of your deliverables with full accountability.
- Be well-prepared and consistently exceed expectations with high-quality results.
- Bring a solid background in financial products to the table.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Market Research, Technology, Finance, and Operations.
- Skillfully balance credit requirements with sales and customer needs, leveraging a deep understanding of the local market.
- Drive product proposition decisions in sync with key stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to track portfolio trends and uncover opportunities or weaknesses.
- Proficient in MS Office, with a hands-on approach to product development, process automation, and MIS generation.
- Outstanding presentation skills.
