STARC Systems, a globally recognized leader in industrial temporary modular wall systems, is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join their team in Brunswick, Maine!
This newly created position will be responsible for managing and optimizing the cloud-based IT infrastructure, focusing on critical business applications like Salesforce, Acumatica and Workato. This role will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our Enterprise System Architecture (ESA) to ensure seamless integration, workflow automation, data accuracy, and reporting. Working closely with cross-functional teams and vendors, you will configure, optimize, and maintain our cloud systems to enhance our overall operational efficiency, data integrity, and security.
This role requires technical expertise, a detail-oriented mindset, and strong communication skills to provide consistent support across the organization.

Requirements for the Systems Administrator:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Certifications in Salesforce (Administrator, CPQ) a plus
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, with a strong emphasis on cloud-based applications primarily Salesforce however the role will require supporting Acumatica and Workato long term so experience with ERP and integration tools is a strong plus
- Experience with data warehouse architecture and tools like PowerBI a plus
- Hands-on experience with Workato or similar integration tools, managing workflow automation, and ensuring data interoperability across applications
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and devise secure, efficient solutions
- Ability to create meaningful, actionable reporting dashboards across systems to support data-driven decision-making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in cloud environments, with experience implementing security protocols and managing compliance requirements
- Experience with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) for managing service requests and incidents
- Scripting or automation skills in languages such as PowerShell, Python and any native languages to the systems being supported (Salesforce, Acumatica, Workato, etc.)
Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator:
- Overall Systems Administration and Configuration
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Salesforce, Acumatica and Workato, ensuring optimal performance, configuration, and uptime
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security configurations in each application to ensure appropriate access and data protection
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and integrations across Salesforce, Acumatica, and using Workato or other integration tools
- Troubleshoot and optimize integrations to support seamless data flow, minimizing discrepancies and improving overall efficiency
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across applications, overseeing data migration, deduplication, and synchronization efforts
- Configuring and administering CRM and ERP permissions, automation, and reporting
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards that provide cross-functional insights, enabling informed decision-making for stakeholders
- Provide technical support for end-users, addressing issues related to system access, functionality, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Assist in developing training materials and conducting user training sessions to promote effective use of our business systems
- Stay informed of new features, trends, and best practices for cloud-based business systems and recommend enhancements to improve functionality
- Collaborate with departments to identify needs and implement solutions that streamline operations, enhance automation, and add business value
- Enforce cybersecurity protocols and policies across cloud-based applications, ensuring compliance with security standards
- Regularly monitor and manage security settings to protect data integrity and mitigate risks
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on system configurations, workflows, and change management processes
- Track and manage incidents, requests, and SLAs to ensure timely resolution and accountability
