Auburn Manufacturing, Inc. locally owned and operated for 44 plus years, has several Textile Machine Operator openings, to be based in their Auburn & Mechanic Falls, Maine plants.
Requirements of the Production Tech:
- Manufacturing experience preferred, but we will train
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds
- Ability to commute to Auburn or Mechanic Falls
Shifts Available:
- 1st shift: Mon-Thurs 6:00am – 3:30pm
- 2nd shift: Mon – Thurs 3:30pm – 1:00am - will train on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks.
- Weekend Shift (Auburn Plant) – Fri, Sat, Sun, 6am – 5:30pm – Work 36 hrs., get paid for 40 – Fulltime benefits – Will train on 1st shift Mon – Thurs for 4-6 weeks.

Responsibilities of the Production Techs we currently are looking to fill:
- Operates equipment such as spinning frames, twisters, blend and card machines
- Operates wide and narrow looms to create cloth
- Stitches, cut & sew, fabricates and operates Quilting Machine
- Prepares and feeds cloth into Ovens and or Furnace
- Weighs rolls of cloth, straps onto skids, packages, labels
