Good Will-Hinckley is seeking a School Based Clinician to provide direct therapeutic services to students in grades K-12 who experience social-emotional and behavioral challenges and have been referred through their school district’s special education process. The School Based Clinician will ensure delivery of quality clinical services to youth and families and compliance with all state and federal mental health licensing standards and MaineCare regulations. This position is based on their beautiful campus in Hinckley, Maine and offers a school year calendar and housing option.
Requirements of the School Based Clinician:
- Master’s degree in related field.
- Licensed as LCSW, LCPC or LMSW or LCSW-cc or LCPC-c.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in working with youth and families.
- Proven treatment planning experience in Maine Care Sections 97 and 65 preferred.
- Satisfactory reference and background checks. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Benefits of the Job:
- Annual salary in the range of $50,000 to $60,000

Responsibilities of the School Based Clinician:
- Provide individual, family and group counseling, as stated on the youth's IEP and in collaboration with outside family service providers as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the Glenn Stratton Learning Center staff in the admissions process.
- Participate in educational and clinical team meetings providing input regarding assessment, service planning, and behavioral interventions.
- Develop treatment plans and IEP goals in accordance with Department of Mental Health and the Department of Education.
- Participate in monthly clinical consultation with the campus clinical team and Director of Roundel Residential and Clinical Services.
- Participate in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training.
- Document daily clinical work in EHR (AWARDS) as set forth by organizational policies and procedures and state regulatory agencies.
