Maine Connectivity Authority is seeking a Technology and Data Systems Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping MCA’s systems, processes, tools, and overall organizational performance. The Technology and Data Systems Manager will oversee cross-functional technology and operations related projects in alignment with the organization’s long-term goals and shorter-term mission critical activities including implementing a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and other technology solutions in addition to managing the long-term IT roadmap. 

Requirements of the Technology and Data Systems Manager:

    • Master's degree in Finance, Management, Business, or other similar field preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in PM capacity.
    • Experience leading strategy and operations, strategic initiatives, managing budgets, and facilitating organizational development/improvement.
    • Experience with a professional contact relational management (CRM) system such as Salesforce is required.
    • Experience working with geodatabases, especially experience with ESRI products.
    • Advanced level of experience with productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Asana, and Slack.
    • Strong data management skills, awareness of data governance and orientation toward data analysis.
    • Prior experience using APIs to integrate systems and extracting data from systems to update information or drive workflows in other application systems.
    • The ability to produce high-quality deliverables; organize and manage projects; coordinate cross-functional teams; and complete projects on time and within budget.
    • Experience in different organization types (e.g., public, non-profit, and private sectors) preferred.

    • Annual pay in the range of $90,000 - $110,000

Responsibilities of the Technology and Data Systems Manager:

    • Manage the organization’s IT roadmap implementation to strengthen data management and utilization (includes but is not limited to, new ERP system, Salesforce implementation, Asana, and other platforms).
    • Assist with management of ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, with a focus on AWS database maintenance in coordination with MCA Senior Manager for Research and Analytics.
    • Manage systems integration and implementation in coordination with the MCA Program Operations Director and Finance and Operations Director.
    • Manage internal IT functions and vendor relationships in coordination with MCA’s Operations Manager.
    • Ensure data integrity & fidelity across organizational systems and processes.
    • Manage/build strong talent, performance management, and culture-related systems.
    • Provide day-to-day technical support across platforms for internal and external parties.
