Criterium Engineers is looking for a CONSULTING/ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER to join their growing team in Freeport, Maine.  Criterium Engineers, one of North America’s leading consulting engineering firms, is committed to helping building owners, real estate investors, contractors and homeowner associations understand the buildings they own, build, manage, or purchase.  We know buildings of all types, from major hospitality, institutional and transportation facilities to high rise multi-family units and single-family homes.
We are looking to grow our project management and operations team with a Consulting/Engineering Project Manager based in Freeport, Maine.  As the hub of project activity, the Project Manager ensures that projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and fulfill the project scope while avoiding scope creep.
This project management professional works within our Construction Engineering Services [CES] team and primarily manages multiple projects for our large clients, including a nation-wide residential developer. 

Responsibilities Include:

    • Project set up including reviewing proposals, agreements, confirming finances and establishing milestones
    • Project planning and tracking
    • Report review process and client deliverables
    • Resources management and allocation
    • Risk management
    • Expert communication and service
As a Consulting/Engineering Project Manager, you will mentor a project team to ensure intended project outcomes, consistently work at leading process improvement, and you will collaborate daily with our experienced team of engineering field technicians located across the country.  Travel occasionally may be necessary.
Our Project Managers have extensive computer application experience, are adept at communication using a variety of mediums, have strong organizational skills, and can read client situations well and respond constructively.
If you enjoy working with highly skilled, dedicated professionals, have a 4-year technical or business degree or a 2-year technical degree plus experience, preferably in mechanical engineering, and you have 3+ years of experience in engineering, construction, real estate and/or quality, we would love to have a conversation with you.  PMP certification is preferred.
