As a Senior Buyer/Planner, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and inventory productivity with the goal of meeting or exceeding sales, margin, and inventory turn targets. You’ll focus on optimizing in-stock rates for our Core assortment and maximizing sell-through of our Seasonal collections. In partnership with Merchandising, Planning, and Allocation, you will develop and execute reporting to identify opportunities across our global product range. You will analyze, measure, and communicate sales and inventory performance through key KPIs including—but not limited to—OTB, ST%, WOS, and turn rate.

The Opportunity

    • Optimize inventory through forecasting and placing POs for Core replenishment for Knix and Kt, with a focus on improving NOOS/Core product in-stock rates monthly and quarterly
    • Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and product lifecycle to refine assortments, markdown strategies, and turnover—while identifying new opportunities within the global range
    • Partner with the Senior Director to coordinate and quantify quarterly seasonal PO placement for Knix/Kt
    • Build quarterly investments and bottom-up style/color buy plans in Toolio for all Knix/Kt classes
    • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously evolve the buying process
    • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships across merchandising, planning, marketing, eComm, retail, and wholesale to ensure alignment and flawless execution of buying strategies
    • Partner with Merchandising, Visual Presentation, Retail Leadership, Allocation, and Buying to build and maintain a robust store profiling and clustering template
    • Challenge the status quo and continuously identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience in omni-channel buying and planning, or equivalent business-related experience
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage financial metrics such as sales, gross margin, receipt flow, OTB, etc., to drive business impact
    • Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and ERP or large-scale data management systems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proven ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships
    • Strong listening and problem-solving abilities
    • Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
