We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Social Media Manager to support in overseeing our organic social media efforts, contributing to the development and execution of overall social media marketing strategies for both Knix and Kt by Knix. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in social media management, a deep understanding of various platforms, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of driving engagement, growth, and cutting-edge strategies across all platforms. Reporting to the Director of Social Media, you will assist in strategizing, planning, approving, and executing compelling, shareable content across various channels. The ideal candidate is able to juggle multiple projects at once, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing the needs of the team and collaborating cross-functionally.

You will be a part of Knix's Communications, Partnerships & Social Team, reporting to the Director of Social Media. This role involves leading members of the team and ensuring the seamless planning and execution of multiple campaigns and projects across Knix and Kt by Knix. You must be able to zoom out to see the big picture, optimize content calendars, create workback schedules, and strategize social media go-to-market campaigns alongside the team. Responsibilities include overseeing a team, as well as working on strategy, content production and briefs that align with broader marketing initiatives to support new product launches, promotions, brand campaigns and more. You will be expected to collaborate with our internal Creative, PR, Acquisition, CX, Partnerships teams, etc.

About You

    • You specialize in planning, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns for product launches, promotions, and other marketing initiatives. Translating brand briefs into strategic plans to meet the goals/objectives of the Social Media Team will be a key aspect of your role.
    •  You will work to build strategic plans, implementing processes, obtaining approvals, managing feedback loops, collaborating with cross-functional partners, etc. 
    • You must have the capability to oversee the planning, creation, and execution of compelling and shareable content across various social media channels for both brands. 
    • You must feel at ease approving and providing feedback on creative elements such as digital assets and videos, as well as copy and brand messaging. You must also be able to create engaging content yourself. 
    • You must ensure consistency with our brand voice across all channels. Making sure content adheres to legal compliance will be part of your responsibilities as well.
    • You will work to monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. You will contribute to conceptualizing and executing social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Linkedin, etc.
    • Your experience should include managing people and freelancers. You should feel confident in communicating with external partners and collaborators. You will be operating with agility and independence, and you will have open communication and collaborate daily with the Director of Social Media, and the larger cross-functional team. 
    • Your strong time management skills enable you to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving targets. As a project manager, you possess the ability to see the big picture while managing every detail of a given initiative to ensure success.

The Opportunity

    • Conceptualize, develop, execute, and monitor social media strategies, campaigns, and calendars that drive meaningful storytelling, engagement, and growth for the Knix and Kt by Knix brands across all active social media channels.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Social Media and peers, including Ambassador, Influencer, Creative, and IMC Teams, to align our internal goals with new and existing cutting-edge social media strategies. 
    • Oversee not only the Social Media Calendar but also the Partnership, Ambassador, and Communications calendars to ensure synergy across the department.

Qualifications

    • At least 6 years of work experience in Social Media, Brand Marketing, Communications, etc. with at least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team.
    •  In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong copy editing skills is a must. 
    • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically.
    • Experience with Google Suite, Notion, Social Media Management Platforms (Later, Sprout Social), Adobe, Slack, etc. 
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; Communications or Marketing. Strong time management and logistics experience with the ability to remain proactive, and keeping individuals  accountable for any deliverables required for launches.
    • Proven history of social media campaign management and development of content strategies  from end-to-end.
    • Ability to think critically, utilize subject matter expertise, and problem-solve - ensuring the voice of the brand and the POV of the customer is top of mind. 
    • Highly motivated, self-directed and driven with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team including cross-functionally and with external partners.
    • Stakeholder management and the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
