We are seeking a talented Learning and Development Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about employee growth and development, with a proven track record of designing and delivering engaging learning content. This role will collaborate extensively with executives and department leaders to develop a strong Learning and Development (L&D) framework for the business. This involves selecting technical materials, creating and facilitating training for the company and ongoing development for all staff. Reporting to the Director, of Talent and Organizational Development, this role will be a key stakeholder in ensuring every employee gets the training they need to succeed and fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance, striving for all “Knixers” to receive a world-class learning experience.

The Opportunity

    • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop learning objectives.
    • Design and implement learning programs that align with organizational goals and support employee development.
    • Develop engaging learning content, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and other multimedia materials.
    • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods to cater to different learning styles. Facilitate in-person and virtually across all levels of the organization.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
    • Manage the learning management system (LMS) and ensure content is up-to-date and accessible to all employees.
    • Coach and mentor other members of the L&D team.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of L&D experience in a high-growth and performance-oriented company
    • Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
    • Experience with assessment tools preferred
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency with learning management systems and other instructional technology.
    • Video editing and web design is an asset
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable working with ambiguity, with an ability to build programs from scratch.
    • Experience in a managerial or leadership role preferred.
