We recently closed our Series A—led by Andreessen Horowitz—and are scaling rapidly across multiple states.
Responsibilities:
- Own P&L and KPIs for all clinics, including visit volume, clinician productivity, NPS, EBITDA, and unit economics.
- Develop and socialize a standardized operating model, SOPs, and dashboards to ensure consistent performance across markets.
- Establish weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating rhythms that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Real Estate, Finance, and Clinical teams to select sites, negotiate leases, manage build‑outs, and launch new practices on time and on budget.
- Lead integration of acquisitions or de novo sites, ensuring rapid adoption of knownwell playbooks, culture, and systems.
- Build scalable processes for state licensing, payer enrollment, and supply‑chain readiness.
- Champion Lean / Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste in patient intake, room turnover, care coordination, and revenue cycle hand‑offs.
- Collaborate with Product & Engineering to enhance workflows in athena and internal tools; influence our digital road‑map based on frontline feedback.
- Deploy capacity planning and workforce management models that align staffing with patient demand in both in‑person and virtual channels.
- Build, coach, and inspire a high‑performing field organization of Regional VPs, Directors, Practice Managers, and frontline staff.
- Serve as a dedicated mentor, coaching emerging leaders and frontline managers to reach their full potential.
- Design clear career paths, performance metrics, and incentive structures that reward quality, efficiency, and patient‑centric care.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, ownership, and data‑driven decision making.
- Serve as the connective tissue between Clinical, Central Operations, Revenue Cycle, Finance, Product, Marketing, and People teams.
- Translate company OKRs into clinic‑level execution plans and ensure cross‑functional alignment.
- Ensure practices adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, NCQA, Joint Commission).
- Maintain robust policies for safety, infection control, and incident reporting; oversee internal audit cadence and remediation plans.
Qualifications
- 12+ years progressive leadership in multi‑site healthcare operations, with 5+ years at the VP or equivalent level.
- Demonstrated success scaling a provider organization from <$50 M to >$150 M revenue; proven P&L ownership.
- Deep expertise in clinic build‑out, workflow design, capacity modeling, and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt a plus).
- Comfort operating in hybrid fee‑for‑service and value‑based care environments; experience with athena or similar EHR preferred.
- Data fluency—able to build and interpret dashboards in Looker/Tableau, and drive decisions with SQL, Excel, or similar tools.
- Inspirational leader with exceptional communication, change‑management, and stakeholder‑influence skills.
- High emotional intelligence and low‑ego leadership style that drives results through collaboration and curiosity.
$220,000 - $250,000 a year
