We are looking for an IT Desktop Support Engineer to provide support and management of all aspects of our Desktop, Audio/Video and End-user devices. Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support desktop systems based on customer service requests. Manage access to applications and systems. Oversee inventory management of software and hardware components.  Install antivirus software and oversee software license renewals. Triage and escalate issues when appropriate.

What you'll be doing:

    • Keep inventory, build/order new desktop systems, and maintain existing desktop systems
    • Handle Mobile Device Management and Bring Your Own Device programs
    • Build, manage, and maintain conference room IT equipment
    • Deploy Desktop and server equipment
    • Troubleshoot, research, isolate, and resolve problems and perform follow up with end users
    • Assists with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of servers, platforms, and networks
    • User Permissions management
    • Deploy and troubleshoot software programs and manage software licensing
    • Maintain printers by replacing toner, maintaining kits, solving jam issues, and installing drivers
    • Support and provide solutions to employees regarding IT needs

We're looking for someone who:

    • BA/BS degree is preferred
    • Minimum 2 years relevant experience preferred
    • Linux Desktop and/or Server experience
    • Experience with Windows, MacOS, and Linux desktops
    • Experience with user account management
    • Network and computer troubleshooting
    • Has experience with Google G-Suite
    • Has a general understanding of Network and Server concepts
    • Is comfortable dealing with users with varying levels of IT knowledge

Bonus points for:

    • Experience in a large Linux desktop environment
    • Experience with MDM solutions
    • Bash, Python or Perl scripting
