Join our Kogan.com Commercial Team as we continue to expand our footprint in commercial and government procurement. We’re looking for a motivated and commercially savvy individual to take the reins of a newly created role: Commercial Tender & Contracts Lead.

In this high-impact position, you’ll build and lead the end-to-end tendering function across our Kogan.com Commercial division, targeting contracts with government departments, educational institutions, and corporate customers across categories such as electronics, furniture, appliances and whitegoods.

You’ll work cross-functionally to develop compelling proposals, pricing strategies, and streamlined processes that enable us to win more work in a rapidly evolving procurement landscape.

You'll be responsible for:

    • Build and lead the Kogan.com Commercial Team’s tendering capability from the ground up.
    • Identify and pursue procurement and tender opportunities across government and enterprise sectors where our Kogan.com Commercial team can fulfil requirements.
    • Coordinate the preparation of responses for RFQs, RFPs and other tender formats.
    • Develop pricing models and commercial strategies aligned to business profitability targets.
    • Ensure all responses meet compliance, legal, and submission requirements.
    • Manage internal workflows and documentation to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
    • Track tender outcomes, report performance, and implement learnings to improve win rates.
    • Work closely with broader Kogan.com Departments to support commercial outcomes
    • Support commercial project delivery across logistics, fulfilment, and customer service teams.
    • Represent Kogan.com at industry briefings, supplier events, and tender presentations where required.

To be successful in this role, you should be:

    • University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Business or similar)
    • Experienced in commercial sales, business development, or account management
    • Experienced in government or B2B procurement processes — tender experience preferred
    • An excellent communicator with strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Highly organised, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
    • Proactive, with a mindset geared towards building and improving internal processes
    • Confident working cross-functionally to support commercial outcomes across departments
    • Skilled in preparing high-quality tender responses, with a solid understanding of compliance and legal requirements
    • Comfortable developing pricing models and commercial strategies aligned with profitability targets
    • Adept at tracking and analysing performance data to inform future tendering strategies
