Korean Bilingual HR/GA coordinator

Responsibilities
- Contributing to the daily operations of HR, GA, and Accounting functions.
- Managing payroll processing, including tasks such as incorporating new hire details, retroactive adjustments, etc., on a monthly basis
- Facilitating the recruitment process for all positions within the Vancouver office, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and negotiation of offers.
- Assisting in the Onboarding and offboarding procedures for employees.
- Maintaining knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Compiling and reporting HR-related data to the Headquarters HR Team.
- Acting as a liaison between the Headquarters and the Vancouver Team, including reporting current operational status, conducting monthly headcount/labor costs reports, and facilitating regular conference calls.
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects and administrative duties as required, such as updating policies, providing visa support, etc.
 
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in human resources management, office management, general affairs, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in an R&D organization or Korean companies preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is highly desirable.
 
* Since this position is based on our Vancouver office, candidates must possess a permanent resident permit or be legally authorized to work in Vancouver.
$40,000 - $55,000 a year
