As Service Centre Technician, you will be responsible for KOKO’s consumer and network hardware warranty assessment and repairs within the operating neighborhood centers and the main service center at the headquarters. These include cookers, canisters and network hardware parts. The ultimate goal of the Network Operations team is to maximize network coverage and service availability to ensure customers can access our fuel everyday, everywhere.
What You Will Do
- Follow recommended design and inspection procedures for receipt and inspections for all KOKO cooker kits and network hardware for repairs
- Comply with the process and requirements for warranties, and with repair policy and service procedures
- Prepare maintenance and service records of all cooker kits and network hardware as directed by the Service Centre Supervisor
- Maintain assigned tools and equipment in good operating condition by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining supply levels and performing regular maintenance
- Respond to operational warranty and repairs tickets escalated to the department and ensure closure per SLAs and OLAs
- Collaborate with engineering and other interfacing departments and share information across on test results and make adjustments where required through provided communication channels and tools
- Maintain customer satisfaction through professional conduct and engagements
- Ensure adherence to respective Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
What You Will Bring to KOKO
- A minimum of a diploma in Mechanical engineering or technical field
- At least 2 years hands-on experience in hardware testing, maintenance and repairs
- Problem solving and root-cause analysis capability
- Ability to work autonomously and think on your feet
- Good communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
