You will be Leading a team of Mechanical Engineers; responsible for Design & Development of KOKO’s Bio-Ethanol based Cook Stove & Canister. The cook stoves & canisters are produced by KOKO at World’s largest ethanol stove production facility in Ahmedabad. Your role includes developing new products for emerging needs for newer markets while improving the existing products. The role demands a high level of technical expertise in engineering design / new product development with thorough understanding of Materials, Prototyping, Testing & Familiarity with Large scale manufacturing technologies.

What you will do

    • Provide Technical guidance & support to design engineering team
    • Resource & work planning for the ongoing design & development projects
    • Take overall ownership for delivering the project on time and within scope
    • Engage with cross functional teams within KOKO (e.g Product, Manufacturing & Service) on a regular basis
    • Troubleshooting of design challenges / issues 
    • Coordinate with the support team within KOKO Labs for Prototyping & Testing of the Existing & Newly developed products

What you will bring to KOKO

    • Education- Master of Engineering / Bachelor of Engineering : Mechanical or Tool & Die Engineering as specialization
    • Experience- 10-12 years
    • Background- Must have worked in New product Development; involving tooled-up parts of sheet metal and/or plastics
    • Industry- Home appliances, Lab equipment, Consumer electronics or other relevant industries
    • Working experience and understanding of CAD Simulation tools Understanding of different mass manufacturing technologies, processes, their capabilities & limitations
