We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join us in our innovative software engineering team.
In this key leading role at RiACT you will:
- Lead the design, extension, and implementation of core software architecture, including ontologies, data structures, behavior trees, communication models, and hardware abstraction layer.
- Conduct code management, perform code reviews, and excel in debugging and refactoring code into powerful and extensible APIs.
- Assume a lead programming role and collaborate closely with the CTO and CEO to set ambitious goals for the team.
- Guide and support the daily development activities of the team using Scrum as a framework, ensuring realistic resource planning.
- Establish and evaluate development practices and processes to enhance performance and productivity.
- Optimize operations and coordinate goal-oriented development in robot automation projects for our clients.
- Translate complex conceptual ideas, such as loosely specified customer requirements, into functioning software that aligns with our product quality standards and business objectives.
- Co-establish software deployment strategy and identify new functionalities in our solutions.
Who are you?
- + 5 years as full-time Software Engineer with a proven track record of designing and implementing software architectures in Python and C++.
- Proficiency in data structures and algorithms, coupled with knowledge of development methods and principles (TDD, SOLID, GoF).
- Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent code management skills, code review capabilities, and expertise in debugging and refactoring code.
- Exceptional ability to set ambitious goals and inspire the development team..
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate complex conceptual ideas into practical software solutions.
